Why SunPower®?

SunPower® Durability

3 Questions to ask before going solar

Maxeon® Solar cell Technology:

1. How much will my solar panels produce?
2. How long will my solar PV system last?
3. Who makes my solar panels?

Built to withstand temperature extremes, these solar panels typically produce 70% more energy over the first 25 years of operation when compared to competing solar panels.

SunPower Equinox™

A complete home solar PV system provided by SunPower

Multi-layered Strength

Elegant Performance

Concealed Ingenuity

Minimalist Design

Smart Monitoring

Sunpower Equinox solar cells are designed with a solid copper backing and light-trapping surfaces to capture more sunlight over longer periods of time than their conventional counterparts.

Generating energy at a world-record efficiency rate, SunPower panels produce 70% more energy in the same space over the life of the solar PV system.

Microinverters are hidden behind each panel to ensure that power optimization and conversion happen at the source, minimizing light and shading disruptions to maximize power.

8 in 10 homeowners prefer SunPower’s proprietary InvisiMount® frame over conventional systems. Designed to be completely hidden, Sun Power’s Equinox has best-in-class aesthetics.

SunPower’s EnergyLink™ ecosystem provides real-time data on your system’s solar production along with the tools to manage and understand your solar PV system.

Financing Choices

Lease

SunPower Capital owns the solar PV system

  • You pay a monthly “rent” and use the energy you produce.
  • Many customers notice their lease and utility bill are lower than their previous electric bill.
  • Your SunPower Solar PV System is guaranteed for 20 years. Problems that occur will be fixed by SunPower.
  • When you sell your home, the solar PV lease can transfer over to the new homeowner. SunPower will assist with the transfer.

Loan

You take out a loan and own your system

  • You repay your loan on a monthly basis until it is completely paid off.
  • Loan terms are up to 25 years.
  • You may take advantage of solar tax credits as well as any state or local incentives that you are eligible for.
  • You can pay off your loan at any time without a penalty.
  • Your solar pv system is backed by SunPower’s industry-leading Combined Power and Product Warranty for 25 years.
  • For many customers, the combination of the loan payment and remaining power bill is less than their previous electric bill.
